Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

10 rows on my sweater again, nearly up to the armholes. Well, I'll measure it tomorrow and see whether or not I want it longer.

Also, I've sprinkled my seeds on my patch of ground, somewhere around 60 packets, some of which had been opened years ago so are unlikely to be viable. I tipped all the seeds into a pot, gave them a stir, and scattered them at random before raking them in. Now I'll just wait and see if anything comes up. Still need to type up the list of what I've sown. Annuals, perennials, some stuff I don't have a clue about.

I plan to sow some other seeds in pots, see if anything happens. Hollyhocks, sweet peas, probably two or three others. We'll see

A seed adventure! That sounds like a lot of fun. "What's this that came up? Oh it's a dandelion that blew in."

Oh, trust me, there are already dandelion seeds lurking in this patch, and docks by the million, and hundreds of other weed species just waiting their chance. I'll try to weed out the weeds, I always do, but they usually end up overtaking what few plants manage to grow. This is my third year of seed adventures, and so far I've only had two or three actual plants make it from the seeds I've sown =/ I live in hope though!

I blocked the pansy doily this afternoon! Tomorrow I'll get it packaged up - I pin them to foam poster board that I covered in remnant fabric when I'm giving them away. This one is going to one of my youngest cousins. Our great-grandma liked making doilies too, and she had made a similar pattern more than once.

That is just so beautiful, the pansies really look like pansies! I hope it will be appreciated. Doily-making seems to have gone out of fashion these days, which is a shame. They're so classy.
