Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Last Friday's allergies quickly turned into a cough and cold, so I'm battling that. Sneezing my head off all day. No crafting today, because I've had laundry to do, and a lot of writing. Still trying to get done for spook_me while keeping up with my other challenges... Eep!

Thank you! I have managed to divide and edit my Torchwood fic, so that's ready to go. The other one I need to continue writing.

Today, my mother and I turned in our painted pumpkins to the library. Turns out, we get to pick out fall themed enamel pins for participating.

The rest of the day was spent packing and getting ready for my little trip. And the weekly grocery shopping.

I'm painting some little boxes (maybe to sell) but I will male a start on painting the bookcase tomorrow. Still need to scrub it down with sugar soap first.

Oooh, fun! Little boxes are always useful.

Where would we be without sugar soap? That stuff is so useful.

What does it tell about me when I admit I never heard about sugar soap?

Maybe it isn't a thing in Hungary, or maybe it has a different name. There are a lot of things that aren't universal. My mum always used it to scrub down paintwork and wood work, I probably still have some somewhere.
