Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No crafting today, I was in town all morning, but I stopped into the shop that's selling my bee brooches, and they only had two left. Thankfully I had half a dozen with me, so I re-stocked them. That means I definitely need to make more!

I'm pleased. They're displayed on the counter, so when people go to pay for other purchases, they see these tempting little bee brooches =D Really hoping the 8 that are in the shop right now will sell. Every time I go in there now, I get introduced as the bee lady.

More Christmas candy for me today. I swear, selecting the wrappings and other such things are more exhausting than making the things themselves... although today was a real marathon. Hand-shaping 120 individual pieces of candy was a bit mind-numbing. *g*

But they're done now, half of them bagged, the other half wrapped in one layer (will have to add another one for prettiness), so that's four different flavours finished. I'm thinking of making two more, one with chestnut paste and one with date paste and rose water. We'll see how much energy I can bring up, as there are also the spiced oils and vinegars on my to-do list. And the gingered pear jam. The plan is to do all these things in October (the balcony is now cold enough to store these things there, and the oil and vinegar has to set for weeks), so that I can focus on Picowrimo in November. *fingers crossed*

This is going to be quite some Christmas fair with all the edible goodies you're making! Congratulations on today's achievement!

The list I keep of scarves I've done/want to do is not up to date and I only own so many pairs of 4.5 gauge needles so instead of starting yet another project I caught up on the mending I'd put on hold while I was doing the Sushi Scarf.

Oh, and this afternoon at the public library I stumbled upon a salt dough activity (aimed at the elderly residents of the neighbouring retirement home, and during school hours so no children, but open to anyone) and I made half a dozen of little thingies to hang on the next Christmas tree. And a little teddy bear (unfinished, he'll need a black nose, a red tongue, a bit of cleaning along the ears & muzzle, and probably varnish? a bit misshapen but I'm damn proud of him)
