Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No crafting! Horrors!


It was warm and sunny out, so I spent the afternoon in the garden, clearing up a big pile of brambles my friend helpfully cut down and just left about a month or so ago. Since then, it's rained most days, so the bottom half of the pile was all soggy and starting to rot. Not a fun job, I got impaled on a lot of thorns, but I cleared the pile, six buckets of brambles are now in the garden waste bin. Glad I got that out of the way.

Thanks! It was nice being outside where it was warm - it's freezing in my house - but I ended up with backache from all the bending and sore fingers from the bramble thorns.

It's a good thing I did the yard work yesterday! I woke up to rain. Again. Just the thought of trying to deal with all that stuff if was even wetter... *shudders*

Might craft today, might not. Still trying to get the fire cleaned up ready for lighting.

I don't understand how I manage to get lost every other day or so. Granted, I haven't done much crafting lately, but I like to see what the others are doing - if I don't get swallowed by daily chores, like the big cleaning during weekend.

Anyway, in the last two days I made some more surprise boxes and also worked a tiny bit on the dollhouse felt book. Really not much; I'll try to do better.

You can only do so much in a day. Energy and brain power can run out quickly. Well done for doing a bit of crafting.

Finished the white part of my Sushi Scarf and started the black one, but as I went bouldering yesterday my forearms are all stiff and knitting hurts a bit so I'll have to take a break. Friend's birthday is Friday evening so hopefully I still have enought time to finish it Thursday.
