Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

10 more rows on my sweater, I'm making good progress!

Also got out in the garden and dug my plot a second time. Next step is to try to figure out how to edge where the 'flower bed' (ha) and lawn meet so the grass doesn't keep growing across it.

It's coming along. If I work hard I can get a pattern repeat done every 3 days.

Thanks, I'll need it. I just have no idea what to use, I don't exactly have a lot I can work with. =/

My new cross stitch is progressing, and I've sewn the two sides of the elephant I'm knitting together - I like to do a bit of sewing up as I go as it doesn't feel quite so much of a chore that way.

Also, sloth from a few days ago:

Heeee! Mini sloth! I have a little knitted sloth key ring I got of a charity stall at a craft fair a few years back.

I managed a little bit of cross stitch last night. Things are a bit overwhelming here at the moment, so that felt like an accomplishment.

I did some crocheting while listening to an audiobook! I'm making a granny-square-blanket for my nephew. I should devote more time to it, it is taking me forever.

Chocheting granny squares is fun. I started a blanket years ago, but got sidetracked by knitting. Might do some more squares at some point though, to use up yarn oddments

Indeed, although I use lreftover bits for all kinds of things, small knitted creatures, bookmarks, dolls house things...

When I am done with the knitted vest I will look for other and smaller projects!

There are lots of them out there, and they can be a lot of fun, but a bit fiddly to sew up.

I like crafting while listening to audiobooks - it's a great way to spend some time.

I would not be able to knit while listenting to audiobooks, I lose my focus too easily, and I use too much energy with knitting, but with crocheting I find I know what I am doing, which leaves me energy to listen too :D
