Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I managed to knit three pumpkins last night, making 7 to sew up and stuff. Today I stuffed 5 of them, and I have 20 stalks (5 in each of four shades of green) knitted, awaiting being rolled and sewn up.


I think the pumpkin count is currently at 80, which means once I make pumpkins for the stalks that are knitted, I should have 100. So, I need to knit 18 more pumpkins...

Minimal crafting today; I was floored due to the cleaning. But one vanity table is finished and sewn on firmly, and I've started on the wardrobe doors.

Oh no! I'm already out of green and pink wool! and my roll is only as wide as half its heigth. I could go cheap and just roll the core into lots and lots of off-white to make up for the bulk, but I feel it would be nicer if I added more colour first.
As the yarn shop is closed on mondays I'm taking a break, knitting my wavy-striped scarf instead--wow going back to my regular gauge 4.5 needles after three days on gauge 7 feels weird--and I'll brainstorm with my friend about what to do with the Sushi Scarf tonight.

You're making tremendous progress from the sound of it, but running out of the colours already is annoying. Hope you can figure out what to do for the rest of the scarf. Good luck!
