Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Knitted 5 more pumpkin stalks, rolled and sewed up all 20 stalks, then sewed up and stuffed 4 pumpkins.

I did some small work on the current quiet book page. The large mirror above the vanity table now has a frame of pale pink flowers; I find it looks really nice. I've also sewn on a strip of lace (crocheted by my Grandma in the late 1960s or early 1970s, before she'd lose 92% of her eyesight) on the top that looks like a short curtain or whatnot - really stylish, if I say so myself.

Did an entire row of vertical stitching while hanging out and chatting with husband. Slow and steady wins the race. Now all three kids are sick...

I finished my throw! erm, because I'd tilted the fabric I had to cut the leftover fabric all around, I couldn't just tear it along the weave lines, that was the point, and it's cut a bit crooked everywhere. Oh well.
I did a couple centimeters on a scarf project I had hanging around since the beginning of summer.
And in the end we were able to do that yarn run yesterday, so Sushi Scarf is a go! Wish me perseverance, I don't have a pattern, only reference pictures; I'll make it up as I go.

Yay! Well done! A bit crooked makes it look authentically hand done.
