Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I put the tails on the two meeces I sewed up yesterday, then sewed up, stuffed, and put ears and tails on 6 more. I think that leaves another dozen. When I've got them all done, I'll stitch their faces. These are the ones I was making... last year I think, with the purple sparkly yarn I found in one of the local charity shops.

I am amazed by how many meece fans there are! I will post pics when this batch are finished. They're leftover from last year.

I'm still dragging from having COVID. Mostly just trying to stay on top of regular chores.

I did start another washcloth with more leftover lace weight (in drawer for many years). Trivet wasn't working out due to counting!

Oh you poor thing. I've just recovered from my 4th round of Covid, so I know what you're going through.

Well, if that isn't a pleasant surprise! The jelly not only set, it didn't melt when I took it out of the fridge and let it stand in the kitchen, either. I wrote the labels, labelled and decorated the mini jars, and now they look like this:



I also processed all my differently-coloured pieces of tinfoil that will become Christmas tree garlands, and I finished one more pillow case.

I've not checked in for a while as I've been super busy with All The Things, but will have a catch up tomorrow. Since I posted last, I've decorated and painted two noticeboards for book signings, done Abbey Medieval Festival things with last minute sewing, finished a whole early 14th century dress in blue linen by hand, done Newcastle Medieval Festival, re-tore my knee (MRI again) made a bunch of tasselled bookmarks with squirrel charms and put a bunch of mounts and a purse hanger onto a belt which (as it turns out) were too wide to go through the buckle.

Anyway, there will be pics!

The not posting really is due to the steps to add photos which is tricky on my phone and I really like to post with photos.
