Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The second of the three owls is finished and I've started the last one.


While listening to audiotapes, I came across a dedication for my 21st birthday (over 40 years ago) from a friend I haven't thought of in decades. That was a nice surprise =)

It did. My friend is long gone, he was my mum's age, but it was sweet of him to call in a dedication for me to the radio, and they played a song I really enjoy.

so game night ended with 30/34 rows done, but also now a wait for more thread. Not sure if oops or yay bc I wouldve hit that wall anyways, but one way or another it was BOTH great progress *and* really annoying, lol

The cross-stitch is done! I'll probably press it and frame it before I take a photo. I'm probably going to do a bit of writing for the next stage of the travelogue before starting on trying to make a bunny. I'm out tomorrow night to watch some Shakespeare so likely won't get anything done tomorrow.

My brain is soup.

I pulled out my scarf that I had been working on and tried knitting on it during TV time to see if I still remembered how. I got 16 rows done.

I also registered for a class on how to do tile mosaics next month. We'll see if this was a mistake.
