Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Stitched all three flowers and half of the big heart on the current design! Only got the rest of the heart and the backstitching to do.


I need to decide whether I'm going to stitch the ladybug set of designs next, or something else... Not sure what I want to do.


Got another mention on one of today's audiocassettes! I had not approved of one of the tracks played on the show (and to be fair, the DJ's wife hadn't either). Really, Ralph McTell should never have been allowed to record I Fall to Pieces. I remember mum and I just looking at each other in horror, then bursting out laughing. So bad.

Well, failing any new ideas, the ladybugs will be there for you! And I'm sure something will come up eventually. Always does, lol.

I have a huge stack of magazines with the fabric for various designs cut and prepared, it's just a case of deciding what sort of thing I fancy stitching next. Cute animals? Flowers? Butterflies? Trees? I'll have to take a look, see what strikes my fancy.

Ladybugs have been bumped in the queue. They're to be stitched on rustico as well as the hearts and flowers were, so I wanted to take a little break from that, work on white again.

They do bring back a lot of memories, not just from the sings either. Sadly, not everything that I hear on my tapes is available on youtube, cue pouting at the unfairness.

Bee's aren't back yet so the doily moves on. It's a rather large one (30 rows) and I'm on row 12 thus far. Ideally I'll get done to 14 today but eh, this is for me. Whatever happens happens.

You're progressing well, but of course each row gets longer than the one before.

Went to craft group today and managed to get some crocheting done. I’ll be able to dedicate more time to it (and K-dramas) once I finish editing this novel…
