Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

More progress on the border of the second seashell card. the first two shades of blue are done, and part of the brown inner border.

Well, it's still going to take at least another 4 days to finish this one, and I still have four more of this set, so I'm not exactly flying through them, but all progress is good.

Heeheee! I finish one lot and start another. I can do that because I cut and prepped a ton of aida last year, all the pieces are tucked in the magazines so I can just select what I want to stitch next, get the threads out, and get stitching =D

Did you see the pics I posted the last couple of days? Roses, and cute farm animals.

I've finished the cellophane bags. Well, the last batch needs some Washi tape decoration still, but basically, they are done.

Yes, they are for various kinds of sweets I am planning to make later.

Thoughts

Today we're setting up for a Midsummer ritual. Plan for supper is savory bread pudding made from pretzel bread and ham.

We usually say Litha, I put Midsummer because more folks would recognize it.

The savory bread putting algorithm is here. It works super well with tandoori chicken, where you can also throw in the mess of onions and peppers that the chicken comes on top of.

Us: "... and an extra order of tandoori chicken to go after supper."

Waiter: ???

Us: "We're going to make savory bread pudding with it tomorrow."

Waiter: *salivates*

I just know some of them have run home to try that themselves. :D

The end is in sight! Stayed up abominably late last night (early this morning?) watching not one but two episodes of a show and I am almost finished with the final row of puff stitches! The math wasn't mathing very well (possibly owing to how late it was) but I made so much progress and now it really feels like the end is in sight and I can finish within the week!
