Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Managed 8 rows of rib today! I think I'll need at least another 10 before I increase and then start the lace pattern, but I'm getting there!

It's growing - I presume the needles are quite small.

Standard for DK yarn, 3 1/4 mm, so yes, quite small. The main sweater will be knitted on 4 mm needles.

I've done 20 rows and I'm at 6cm.

Stitchalong Day 6 - satin stitch flowers which I'm not really satisfied with, but hopefully once they have stalks they'll just look like nondescript flowers.

It's your first try, so perhaps you'll be happier with the results after you've had some practice. I tried satin stitch a couple of times but I couldn't get the hang of it.

It looks amazing when done right, but it's certainly not for eveyone.

Nothing ever looks like it should until the details go in! I'm sure it will be lovely with the stalks.

Advice needed

I've been trying to remove the baked on decoration on a glass. I've tried acetone and soaking in bleach with limited success. I want to get the decoration off and just leave the glass. Any ideas?

I've done more sewing on a second linen chemise which is nearly finished now! yay!

I've no experience there I'm afraid. That chemise is coming on quickly.

Tiny bit of cross stitch done in the space between work and starting dinner. It’s been a tough few days, so I decided that taking plants in and out for the day to harden (hope to get them in the garden this weekend) and watering them ticks my “gardening” box.

Hardening off plants and watering them are essential gardening tasks, they most definitely count.
