Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Managed to fit in three cross stitch sessions today, each one under an hour, but progress is being made.
Also got an hour or so in the garden, clearing sticky weed and some brambles around the side of the house. Should be able to start tackling the forsythia tomorrow. That's the aim anyway. Might have to snip the hedge a bit first.


Caterpillar count: 19, but I didn't spend a lot of time on it because I also had laundry to do, a pile of dishes to wash, and the fire to clean out. It's been a busy day.

wow 3 sessions on the cross stitch on top of all of that.

I had sticky weed on my socks and I didn't even do weeding today, am unsure how that happened.

It was a relief to sit down.

It gets everywhere. You just have to go near that stuff and it jumps out and grabs you.

Today I'm working on the goddess garden, trimming around the edge, digging out grass, etc.

And the greenhouse arrived! It is in two boxes, and the delivery men kindly put it in the garden shed for us. ::D 3q3q3q!!!!

Yay! Glad the greenhouse arrived! Also what's a goddess garden? Am curious.

The goddess garden consists of a circle of bricks with various flowers and thyme inside. In the warm season, it has a goddess statue in the center, which I just put back outside today.

From May last year, you can see the statue. This post has a picture from earlier this spring, sans statue, with crocuses blooming. Next time I take pictures and post them, I should have something of the current version.

It'll take a couple weeks to fill in, but the moss roses are already blooming. :D

One row on the cardi earlier today, and I just finished an hour on Alphi. He has eyes now! Tomorrow (or later today, if I get bored) I start his neck decreases.

Managed a teeny bit of letter scrapbooking and also completed another row (18/55) on the six star blanket.
