Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

This week hasn’t been great on the crafting front as toddler has gone into a sleep strike again (in related news, I’m more-than-usual exhausted and tetchy) but I did finally manage a little bit of cross stitch last night.

I have AMBITIONS of ALL THE CRAFTING (embroidery things I want to learn and try) which is usually the cue for when the rest of my life explodes into a mess I have to clean up and all my crafting time disappears. It often makes me cranky. (I am cranky.)

Oh well. At least I still have the creative writing job for now. The project is a bit bumpy going at the moment and stressing me out, but at least it’s something creative I get to prioritize since it’s an actual money job and that’s all anyone thinks is important :P

Cranky is a valid way to feel when life is being uncooperative. You're entitled to your crankiness even though you'd probably rather not be cranky. Hopefully toddler ewill soon be back to sleeping so you can rest too and have time for the things you enjoy.

But yay for managing a bit of cross stitch despite everything.
