Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Had laundry to do and I've been battling a headache all day, so I only got 8 rows done on the front of my jacket, but it's still progress!

Definitely progress! We had laundry day, too, so I know how much that can drain one's strength. That, plus a headache, would bring anyone to their knees.

Well, not quite to my knees, I still had the fire to clean out and coal to bring in... And now I have to do some more writing.

I finally did some actual crafting today: finished the little felt gift box, made another simple egg basket from a toilet roll, glued on the basket handles to all five finished ones and finally put that little bunny-making kit bought at Pepco a few weeks ago to good use.

This is the result.

I'm not too impressed with the design - why they gave the same size pom-poms for both heads and bodies is beyond me, and there were unnecessary duplicates of certain body parts of foam rubber that didn't seem to have any purpose. The "user instructions" consisted of a small number of microscopic pictures on the back of the package that didn't truly reveal how all these parts needed to be used, so I simply didn't use them. Perhaps I'll make 3D Easter cards of them later.

I'm sure you'll find a use for the extra bits. The bunnies are cute though!

There's always a way to put things to good use. Even foam rubber, which I actually hate to touch.

It's weirdly textured. Doesn't bother me too much, but it's not the nicest stuff.

I think the ears are a little weird but otherwise it's okay. The white one looks better in the photo.

Both look a tad weird, IMO. I'd never use foam rubber for such things if it were my choice.
