Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've started the decreases on my sleeve. Only done 8 rows, but it's progress.

I have finished two more lavender sachets and glued on a felt appliqué to a third one; the only one that's already filled, or else I'd have sewn on the appliqué. But I refused to undo the whole sachet just because I got an idea concerning decoration.

Sensible! It would be silly to undo something that was otherwise finished.

Yes, and the first few decrease rows are different to the later ones, so from here on I won't need to keep checking the pattern until I'm down to the right number of stitches.

I pulled out a ufo & figured out what pattern I was using. I couldn't find my notes but I tinked it back to a point that I can start at. I'll be glad to have a new pair of fingerless gloves for my new job. I start on monday!

Yay for progress! I like doing decreases, because the rows keep going faster and faster. :-)

Same here. Sleeves are annoying when the rows keep getting longer all the time, so it's nice to be doing a raglan for a change, rows getting shorter is bliss after making about 5 drop shoulder sweaters where there are no decreases. o_O
