Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Back to crafting! I managed to finish one lavender sachet and stitched on the felt appliqué on another one. This is a project with a December deadline, so I can take my time, which is a relief. Especially if I don't start another mammoth project in the meantime, which is always a possibility, of course. *g*

Wrote up notes on the crochet flower trivets. I want to use up my stash of the yarn this year. Left is when it is finished crocheting, right is when it's been felted.



I am currently working on a pale purple version and watching Babylon 5. :D

Where are you up to watching B5? I'm nearing the end of season 3 on my current re-watch.

I'm in season 1 still, though I watched a couple of the movies first.

B5 is my favourite SF show of all time, I re-watch at least once a year.

Yes! I was just going to watch the movies, because I think I may not seen them all. Then I thought "why not make it a whole watch through." I also have DVDs of Crusade and haven't watched that in ages.

I'm still missing DVD of some of the movies (got them on video tape), but I've got the first two, I think they're my favourite of the movies anyway. I've got Crusade now as well, but I haven't watched it yet. Planning to after I finish my current re-watch =)

i've been avoiding craft night since i forgot to pack my loom with me when i moved from texas to wisconsin. ugh! but i'm hoping to make a quick stop in texas to see my storage unit and get it back asap.

Feeling better today but not great. Still managed to crochet the first half of a second spiderweb wristlet. Also I finally remembered to pull the cube book out of the book press and actually take a look at it.

The wristlet is so cool, very Halloween.

I can see what you mean about needing to use card that isn't as thick for the book, but that is such a fun idea!

The wristlet is really cool. The lady who plays the piano when our choir sings has something similar to cover the surgery scars on her hand. It's practical and looks elegant.

I was wondering what a cube book might be. Interesting; but I guess fairly complicated to make.

Once I understood how the book came together it was much easier to make than I anticipated, for which I am grateful. I love the wristlets and the pattern designer had all kinds of options. Maybe one day I'll make some for myself...
