Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Tatting is the main craft I've never tried but would like to, assuming I can ever find the time.

Today's knitting, 36 rows on the first sleeve of my sweater, which gets me up the start of the raglan shaping. I'm juggling working on several projects at present, depending on available time and what I feel like doing.

Diamond painting looks really cool, but hella time-consuming. Plus, add rhinestones to two very curious cats, and I don't think it's an ideal combination. ^.^

Probably not, the rhinestones would go everywhere!

Yyyyyyyyeah. I miss doing jigsaw puzzles, but I can't for that very reason! Ah, well. Gotta love those silly kitties! :D

I have managed no crafting yet in the last few days, but I did at least touch my knitting project to move it out of inquisitive toddler reach, so that’s something.

I’ve always wanted to try quilling. It looks so pretty and I want to make cards with it.

Quilling looks lovely, I just don't get how it can be stuck down securely with just the thin edges of the paper. That's always baffled me!

Crossstitch looks fun, and also like it doesn't require a substantial investment in terms of money/materials. I'd love to.learn to knit or crochet, but I physically don't have the space for needles/yarn etc in my current living space.

It's easy enough to get small cross stitch kits that contain everything you need for a project, mouseloft do a range of cute stitchlets that are great for trying out the craft, and cross stitching magazines often come with a free kit as well.

Knitting and crochet can take up a lot of space, but sometimes you end up with something you can wear.
