Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Third, and final, bunny egg cosy (the blue one) now has a body. And I've decorated a small plastic tray to take all the small Easter eggs. Photo once it's finished.

I happened to be sitting at my laptop, looking for distractions from what I was supposed to be doing. Which I have now done, you'll be glad to know!

Ah, that explains it. The internet is a great place to look for distractions. I let it distract me every chance I get ;)

And 10 more rows. Both arm warmers are up to 60 rows now and I think there's enough yarn for at least another 10 rows on each, maybe more.

Spent over 2 hours in the garden, finishing clearing the top weeds off my patch of ground. It was hard work and my hands hurt, but I'm ready to start the digging the roots out whenever the weather allows. Only thing is, after this mini three-day heatwave, we have snow forecast for Monday. I am not amused.

Hooray for ever growing arm warmers!

I'm sure you're pleased with how much gardening you've done, even if it was hard work. I got my duvet cover washed and dried (hooray!) We have a smattering of snow, but I think it's unlikely, but temperatures down to -1C, which is ridiculous!

I have known it to snow in April before, but that was over 20 years ago. My mum could remember it snowing once in June, but that was years before I was born. Still, -1 in April in this country is just wrong.

My life feels as though something detonated underneath it on Sunday, so I'm not going to be able to finish the top in time to post it tomorrow. Until then, I was on track, but there hasn't been time to do things in the last few days. *woe*

Still. I've got 2.5" of stocking stitch to go, plus six rows of lace, then a *lot* of Kitchener stitch... so I have actually made progress.

That's a shame, but I'm sure your sister will understand. You almost made it, and considering how little time you had I think you've done amazingly well to get as far as you have. You'll get it finished.

Yesterday was my SCA crafting night and the little one crashed out early so I got to do a bunch of spinning, which is nice because I haven’t been at the wheel nearly as much as I’d like. I finished off the second ply of my yarn, and started on the third!

Woohoo! So glad you finally got some time for crafting. Sounds like the yarn is coming along nicely!
