Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Still no crafting, thanks to ending up spending all last night and half of today at the hospital having tests after suffering back pain and chest tightness last night. Turned out to be a combination of anxiety (lot of stress for me at present) and indigestion. So, I haven't had any sleep since Tuesday night...

Thank you. Winter always ramps up my anxiety, and this time of year is hard for other reasons, plus I have a dental appointment for root extraction coming up, and I'm terrified of dentists, so... a perfect storm, anxiety wise =/

I went to the hardware store for indoor potting soil, as I would not have enough for repotting the African violets. Outdoor potting soil still frozen.

I started a dishcloth this afternoon.

I finished a little wing vest for my older daughter and also a Tunisian crochet headband for my sister-in-law. The vest only took a few days to make though the surface crochet outlining of the feathers was a bit finicky. The headband only took a few days as well. Been a while since I did Tunisian crochet but it turned out well so I am pleased! On to the next project…as if I don’t have four projects in progress right now as it is…

Oh, they're both beautiful, especially the vest, with its 'feathers'. Your daughter will look so cute in it!

Thank you! She was excited to try it on and model it for photos...but hasn't inquired after it since. Oh well. It was still worth making.

I got the neck strip sewn in on the surcote that I finished last week, and I'm up to the eyelet holes OR the sleeves on the new kirtle.
