Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I was very productive today. Day 1 of 3 days off from work. Did lots of stuff e.g. laundry and studying but somehow also found time to write one letter and start the first gauge in knitting as I have decided to knit instead of crochet that teal cardigan after all. I am now hoping to write a second letter and then go to sleep, we'll see how that goes.

P.S.: I am still working om what my crafty resolutions for 2025 might be.

That's a very productive day indeed!

Good luck with the tension gauge for your knitting, and I hope you can fit in writing another letter before you quit for the night.

Keep them flexible so you don't pile too much on yourself.

Yes, I am very happy to report that I wrote that second letter just now. Bringing the total queue to 5. Yay! I hope I can write 2 more tomorrow but would settle for just writing part of one letter, hehe.

Yes, I want to keep my crafting goals small to make them less off-putting and more inspiring.

Thank you, indeed it was! By the way, I enjoy your icon very much. Did you draw it yourself or who did the art for it? It looks amazing.

That's mine! It's a cross stitch I did for a DW friend smallhobbit. We both like Klimt and that's his Tree of Life. I like doing works of art in cross stitch. I've done Kandinsky's Color Study and a couple of other art pieces.

Thank you! I am very pleased with how yesterday went but perhaps I overdid it. Today, I am feeling sluggish and having trouble to get through my to do list of mainly studying and beauty maintenance tasks. I fear there will be no time left for letter writing or knitting when I am done with the rest of the to do list, ugh.
