Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I have managed to apply peel off outline stickers to all of my scalloped squares, so they're ready if I want to do some colouring tomorrow. A couple of them didn't peel off the backing paper well, resulting in bits getting broken, and bits getting left in the design which shouldn't be there (most noticeably on a pink snowman), but most look okay. I also stuck one on the wrong side of the card so the edges of the square aren't as nice and smooth that side. Ah well. Unfortunately, while trying to remove some backing bits that were left in some of the designs, I managed to stick the sharp end of my tweezers into my fingertip, making a hole, so I'm not sure if I'll be knitting tonight.

Here are the pics of the card toppers, ready to be coloured in.

Status as of 1:15pm on Christmas Eve (cross-post from my journal):

I have done the finishing work on the wall hanging! I've taken pictures of it and posted it to Nerdopolis. Alas, the boxes I bought are too small, so I'll have to see if I can find my bigger boxes I have somewhere, or just wrap them loosely.

The last Petal A for the poinsettia is done. I started a Petal B and am going to finish it next. Though I might clean up under my desk some first... I have misplaced the Scarlet thread and knowing me, it's under my chair.

The goal for today was to finish the poinsettia barring the leaves, finish the wall hanging, and finish mini-stocking 4. I have no obligations today other than dinner with mom (leftover pizza). So I'm feeling pretty confident that I can achieve my goals.

Shame about the boxes. It can be hard to judge size before a project is finished.
