Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Not much done today. I've pinned one pair of royal blue arm warmers ready for sewing, whenever I get around to that, and I shifted a bunch of stuff in the box room to get at some white card that I need to make toppers for Christmas cards. I have some peel off stickers that are like little scenes. Stuck on white card, they can be coloured in so I thought that might be a nice little project to play with over Christmas.

Sometimes it's really good to take it easy. Nice little projects can be relaxing, and you've definitely deserved that.

I certainly didn't take it easy today. I had to move half the stuff in the box room out onto the landing to get at the cupboard my card was in, then put it all back afterwards. It was exhausting, but at least now I can do what I want to do at Christmas.

I hope this project can also be done when there isn't enough light for other things.

Yes, it's basically just cutting out card with my cuttlebug, sticking a peel-off on it, and colouring it in. Colouring is a nice easy, relaxing thing to do.

I started working on the base of the crochet basket. Got to just over 8 inches diameter (going to be 12).

It's 3 strands of yarn held together so it's less rows than it sounds!

I had Big Plans to craft all day. The Universe heard of these plans, and went "HAHAHAHAHAHHA NOPE!"

My glasses broke last night as I was taking them off. They could not be immediately fixed. Queue a late night spent ordering a new pair from Zenni and panicking. So today was largely spent finding a local repair place, getting the current pair repaired, helping mom with moving furniture (we had servicemen come to clean the floors), putting furniture back, putting together some furniture I had ordered that arrived today, and going to knitting class. At least I got to knit a bit in class? But it wasn't on the RIGHT projects, sigh.

Tomorrow is going to be busy most afternoon, too, so I will have to do crafting in the morning. For now, it's bedtime.

Oh no! What a nuisance for you! Glasses are not supposed to fall apart like that. I know I had the lens fall out of mine when I was putting them on one morning, but all I had to do there was put it back and tighten the screw. The only time I ever really broke a pair, they got knocked off and the plastic frames smashed on the concrete. That wasn't fun. Glad you were able to get yours repaired.

And yay for getting a bit of knitting done, even though it wasn't on a project you wanted to work on. Sounds like you had a busy and very frustrating day.
