Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Early post tonight because I need to do some writing later. I might do some knitting while I watch David Attenborough in a bit, but I have finished the Christmas cards for my neighbours. I made more than I need, so I can pick and choose who gets which one, but it'll mean I have some left over for next year.

The photos aren't great, it was a very grey day, but they're the best I can manage.

Originally I wanted to start putting away all the crafty things and clean up the mess in the study/workroom today, but instead I spent the morning with creating Mr. Meece.

Meet Mr. Meece!. Isn't it amazing what one can do inspired by discarded shoulder pads? Mr. Meece is actually a hand puppet (if said hand is rather small), and will serve well for the two-year-old grandson of a friend.

I supposedly finished a knitted mini stocking today. I say "supposedly" because it came out a bit deformed. I am likely going to rip back to the heel turn and redo the gusset and foot.

I also did 45 minutes on a wall hanging and 35 minutes on mom's poinsettia. AND cooked dinner. AND did errands. I am *so* going to play video games now.
