Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

50 rows on the next arm warmer! Only 20 left to knit on this one.


Next week is the Strictly final, so I'm hoping once that is out of the way I can put the arm warmers aside and get on with Aran knitting. With that in mind, I dug out some more Aran patterns, hoping I can find a stitch I like to replace the pattern panel that, while I CAN do it, I just don't like it. I don't like how it looks, I don't like knitting it, but I DO like the overall pattern for the jacket, raglan sleeves, pockets, and a collar. So ideally I want to still use that, just change the main pattern panel to something I find more more appealing, and keep the smaller cables.

I wish you luck with the new pattern panel. It sounds like a lot of work, though.

The hard part will be choosing a substitute pattern, I need something that uses a similar number of stitches.

Yesterday I've also finished Christmas card #38. I'm trying to make one more until the fair; it's started already and not too complicated. But with that, I'll also end the fair preparations. It has been fun, but it's enough.
