Hello to all members, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Egg cosy no 1 (a chick) just needs wings and then it's ready to go in an Easter parcel to the daughter - along with some cake. (Cake has yet to be made.)

Feeling slightly more accomplished today, I managed 8 rows on the arm warmers. The first is up to 60 rows and I've started the second. When that one reaches 60 rows (assuming there's enough yarn). I'll work both together until I run out.

Also spent a while looking at some of my patterns, trying to find something suitable for re-using the yarn I intend to unpick from the sweater I'm not happy with. There are a lot I like, just nothing that seems right. I'm leaning towards lace or texture stitches, something that's less likely to scream RE-USED YARN. Too much stocking stitch would make it too visible. Also, I already finished a deep red cabled sweater so I'd like something a bit different for the other red yarn.

I like looking through patterns - the trouble is I then get distracted and forget what I was looking for in the first place.

Yes, I know thay feeling. I did find a pattern that might look good in the fuchsia yarn I've got... Or possibly the rust.
