Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

And the second short arm warmer is knitted! Yay! The plan is to make three short pairs, but I don't know yet if they'll all be 60 rows or if I might do a 70 row pair. We shall see.

Yep! 30 rows less than my usual length. It's good to have some shorter ones, more like fingerless gloves.

Last time I counted... Of course I could wear several pairs at a time to cover my whole arm, from shoulder to hand...

I'm not quite halfway through a 3rd dishcloth.

I finished cleaning the foyer today, and worked very hard at hanging my husband's grandmother's quilt up off the edge of the stairs. Usually there's a blanket on the built in bench (cream, black, red) but it is currently in the wash.

The quilt looks lovely!

I'm pretty happy with it. I will have my husband make end caps for the dowel rod with his 3D printer. Maybe dark blue.

Another cat-in-the-sac box today, plus half an embroidered card with a somewhat challenging pattern. The rest will have to wait until the next batch of cookies is baked.

I finished grafting the toe of my partner's socks yesterday and I'm working on tinking the provisional cast on. I finally picked up my knitting again the other day.

I don't know what grafting a toe is. Knitting term? Well done, though.

Yup, It's a knitting technique for making a smooth toe seam when doing cuff down socks & the toe is done last.

Was about to do some blog updates and then horrifyingly noticed that the journal rename has undone all the image links for the entire journal (except for things I've cross posted from the author one.) And the ones I cross posted from here to THERE... images gone. So... manually go back and re-insert every single image since I started this journal? And then put them in the medievalrosalie goodreads/amazon feed journal too?
Are. You. Kidding. Me.

I guess after I just quickly do a few other things for the next few days, I'll do a quick blog dump for the last month which I'm more and more behind on and THEN I'll be doing that, trying not to cry while I go about it.

I wonder if I changed it back... would it restore. I might poke around in the FAQ's and see if I can find out.

OH NO! What a nightmare =(

I though when there was a name change everything stayed where it was. What an awful thing to discover. I hope you can find some way of fixing it.

I've logged a help request. It was fine the day of the name change, and I haven't been on it since. The image files names have all changed too but they aren't there in the posts. Honestly, if I have to rename back again to get them all reinserted without me having to do it, then I will. Otherwise it's going to be a very, very VERY long few days. Could you take a peek and see if you see any pics? There should be one to a post.

I went to check, too.

On the posts titled "church roof beauty!" and "green buttons progress", there are empty rectangles visible, which I think are placeholders where the images used to be. No images themselves are visible to me, though. Very sorry to hear this, sounds like a lot of work and such tedious work, too! Hopefully, you can find a workaround somehow...

They're placeholders where the pics were if they weren't the first pic. I post a pic at the start of every single post and none of them even have a blank square. :(
