Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I've managed 22 rows on the second of this pair of arm warmers. Hoping I might get a bit more done later while I watch the solar system documentary. I forgot to watch last week and this is the last part.

It's been brilliant, Professor Brian Cox is so good at explaining difficult scientific concepts to laymen. I've learned so much about the solar system that I never knew. I don't suppose you can get BBC shows where you are, but it's just called Solar System, and it's five one hour long episodes. Completely enthralling. I'm miffed that I missed episode 4, but I'm hoping I can watch it on BBC iPlayer when I can spare the time.

I have achieved zero craft for multiple days, and finding this frustrating. I did a tiny bit of hand sewing on Sunday, which was tacking fabric hexagons onto backing card for english paper piecing. Probably a dozen hexes, and then when I ran out of useable fabric, started assembling them.

That sounds like an intriguing project!

Approximately the second pic at this link - I'm not necessarily doing exactly that, but that is the basic idea. It was my first attempt at this type of work, but got put aside for many months, and I rediscovered the pile recently.
