Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

This Week's Question: Have you ever made something and then had no idea what to do with it?

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Great use of the daylight! Yay for a fully finished pair. I don't think most people would notice such a small difference in length.

And extra yay for 22 rows on the other pair! You are very productive for sure. :D

Good job! I'm sure the difference won't be noticeable. Sometimes wool just stretches differently.

Had a productive studying day so far. Now I am out to get dinner, then I'll eat and later, I hope to do some envelope decorating and/or letter writing afterwards. Have about an hour till bedtime.

Congratulations to the productive studying. You've deserved a bit of me-time.

Yes, will do with the studying. Just had a productive 2 hour session with this week's exercise sheet. It was the right decision to take yesterday off now that I am sick again. The cold this time.

I am doing a bachelor in a STEM field. I am going to send you a dm with the exact title as this degree is not available in many places and could hint at my region. ;-)

I cut some strips of fabric for binding another set of quilts.

And I cut and sewed together the start of a carry bag for my work headset. I was intending to do something pretty fancy, but I think I might just leave it as a bag for shoving the headset and cord into so it doesn't get all tangled and tugged in my backpack for work.

I've finished the very pretty angel card and put it under the cutting board to dry - and found it glued to the desktop rather firmly. So I'll have to redo it tomorrow, which is a shame as I don't have any of that really nice, pale green background cardboard left. I'll have to be creative. *sigh*

I also formed the body for the next angel doll and pre-prickled the next card, which will be a rather complicated Christmas tree with ungodly amounts of swirls that while decorative are really hard to get right. But it's pretty and we wantssss it, yesssss, Precioussss. I foresee lots of craft-related cursing in the near future. *g*

Chipping down at this and that: the cardigan, the sock, and craft room/office decluttering. And wrangling Life Stuff but that is definitely a longer term project.
