Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Didn't manage to get anything done on the red sweater today, I've had to start getting ready to light the fire, which is a pain, and the chimney is dripping water so I'm going to have to burn wood and paper a few times to dry it out before lighting it properly. Can't do that though until the removable parts have had a good scrub with a wire brush, which has to be done outside and it's been raining all day, so I haven't even started that yet.


I did get another 20 rows knitted on the arm warmer this evening though, so that's something.

Always is, but it's worse when the weather is so miserable and cold so early in the autumn. September isn't quite over yet and we're getting temperatures more suited to November =(

Well, I had half an hour of TV to watch so that gave me the opportunity to knit.

I wanted to get more work on the Santa stockings done tonight, but something I ate disagreed with me and I wasn't feeling well so instead I spent the night doing self-care by posting stuff on the Internet. Oh well.

Folks here may be interested in nacramamo which is a challenge to craft every day in October. Not sure I'll manage, but I'm hoping it will spur me on.

And thanks to badly_knitted for continuing to run this community. I haven't been around lately because I started working again for the first time in a VERY LONG TIME, but this is still the place I think of for crafting chatter on Dreamwidth. <3

Not enough hours in the day to do crafting today. Reading a new book which provided more last minute additions to current book. Need sleep. :)

I have only maybe a few days before the entire manuscript goes in, so any updates need to be quick and there's some good quotes! It's a penitential, so you know it's great reading!
