Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Quite a successful crafting day! I cast off the neckband of the sweater I'm trying to finish, sewed up the second shoulder seam and the neckband seam, folded the neckband over and stitched the edge down, so that part is finished. Now I just have to attach the sleeves and sew up the sleeve and side seams.


Then this evening while watching the Strictly results show, I added 20 rows to the second arm warmer.

I was very pleased with progress. Too bad I couldn't get much done today though.

And one day later...

After several days of no crafting (for various reasons), I've finally finished my little lavender sachets for the Christmas fair. I've managed to overlook one bag of them and realized with surprise that I actually have 15 of them, instead of 10. Shows how organized my craft room/study is right?

Anyway, here they are:



They're all quite different in size, shape and pattern, but I hope that won't discourage the potential buyers. Of course, I couldn't get my hands on enough lavender to fill them with the flowers alone, so there's a lot of cotton wool in them as well, but they all smell very nicely, so let's hope they'll sell. I put them into a sealed plastic box to keep the smell inside.

They look super! Good idea to seal them in bags so they stay smelling sweet.

They look wonderful. I especially like the ones with the hearts on them.

Personally, I like a the red ones with the white polka dots best, but that's the great thing in diversity: everyone can find their favourite. :)
