Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Nothing for me today. I had to choose between crafting and writing - not enough time to do both - and since the muse decided to cooperate I chose writing in the last two days.

Yay for writing! That's what took priority today for me as well.

Writing always takes priority for me. It's been so rare lately that the muses would cooperate, I have to beat the iron as long as it's still hot.

I'm lucky that my muses are always pretty cooperative. It impresses me that you manage so much with limited time available. Especially during your heatwave.

No crafting today, and no gardening, because I was out all morning for my sight test and a bit of shopping. Not much from the charity shops, but I did find some three-fold card blanks, mostly with round apertures, but a few larger rectangular ones, and three oval. Also snagged a couple of cheap bracelets for the beads.


Unfortunately for me, I have to spend out for new glasses, which is expensive, but I picked out frames I really like, red for my main pair and antique bronze for my reading glasses. Very snazzy. I'm lucky I have such a narrow face I get to pick from the Young Fashions selection, basically kids' frames, which are always better colours.

I usually manage to find some really cool ones =) Now I just have to wait for them to be ready. I don't think I've ever had a really red pair before. Most times I get blue, pink, burgundy, or purple...

I'm looking forwards to wearing them when they're ready, which should be in a couple of weeks. Not that I haven't liked the blue ones I've got at the moment. I've had some awesome frames over the years.
