Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Actually managed to fit in a bit of cross stitch this afternoon, after spending an hour and a half bagging up coal from the coalhouse and stashing it elsewhere, because I need to make room for the delivery on Thursday. Then the rain started again and I retreated indoors.

I missed yesterday's check-in because I wasn't in a good shape mentally. Despite that fact I did start working on the card with the baby Jesus but put it away after having messed up the cross above the windows - which seemed a simple design that I had done successfully before - twice. I decided to do some work on Mary and the candle and actually stitched the candle and about two folds on Mary's gown.

As for tomorrow, it was a busy day with chores and food shopping and laundry, so I didn't continue my work on either of those cards. I *had* everything laid out on my desk well in advance but couldn't bring up the extra energy to actually work on them.

Hope you can get the baby Jesus card to go right at your next attempt. At least you made progress with Mary.

No crafting this weekend as I'm writing a new book which has been in my head for a few weeks. Started yesterday and got a lot done. Trying to avoid eye contact with my sewing pile.
