Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

I didn't leave myself a lot of time for cross stitching today, so all I've managed to do is finish stitching the leaves for the fourth rose.


Most of the afternoon wax spent outside, battling to clear the path. I made really good progress, and I think I have less than a yard of path top clear, just a patch of soil and roots about three quarters of the way along, with clear path on both sides. There's still a lot of overhanging stuff to cut back, and a lot of dead and dying fuzzy honeysuckle to get out of the shrubs, which also need cutting back to a manageable size, but it still looks a lot better than it did.

I have! I wanted to do more, but there were other things I had to do, and then it was late, and I was tired, so... Hoping the weather will stay good for tomorrow/

I've picked the baby blanket back up and did three more rows on it today - finished 19/119 rows.

A few rows on the bolero thingy. Might do more later. I'd like to get this done this month or early next. It's doable, just will require a lot of work at a time when I don't feel like it much. Therefore, I'm pleased I managed to do even a few rows today.

Good luck with your goal! It's hard to craft when you're not really feeling like it, but sometimes it ends yup being worthwhile.

I've finished Cards#19 and 20 and started #21. That one is a relatively simple nativity scene; so far I only had to unpick and redo parts twice or three times. Tomorrow I'll try to make a better pic, using the new iPad; the phone messed it up.

I've managed to do some more on the roses reinforcing but it's not finished yet. I'm currently distracted looking for a housesitter for the next events and being distracted on website upgrades. More sewing tonight, I hope.
