Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

Got up early, hung the washing out, everything was starting to dry, and then I heard thunder. Started bringing in a few of the driest things, hoping it wouldn't rain, but then I felt the first drops, grabbed the rest of the towels off the line, and all I could do was stand in the kitchen, watching the rain pouring down and soaking all the things I didn't manage to rescue. Thankfully it only rained for ten or fifteen minutes and I was able to put the towels out again, the rest of the day stayed dry, but a completely unexpected storm was exactly what I didn't need.

I did get outside in the afternoon and finished clearing the rest of the step. it took me 1.5 hours to clear an area about 12 by 16 inches because there was a very well-rooted and sturdy holly growing in the corner of the step, as well as ivy and rose of sharon. I filled two buckets with soil, roots, and dead leaves to chuck on the compost heap, which just shows how much had piled up.

I have finished stitching the third rose and started the fourth. Yay!

That's quite the achievement on a day like this!
Me, I haven't done anything crafty; unless messed up lemon jam counts.
