I wanna play host!

As a new person to the group, I'd love a check in question asking where we all are in the world. I know that's possibly been done before, but I'm new!

One of the recent posts mentions books we all have on the go. I'd love a check in post about what books we are all reading and haven't finished. It's not craft related, but it sure sounded like we all have a few going at once!

I just learned a cool new technique (a double yarn-over buttonhole), which gave me an idea for some questions for the community. What new techniques have people learned this year? Which ones are their favorites?
