Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Haven't been feeling well so I decided to take a break from gardening for a day or two. Or three. I shall see.


Instead, I have been stitching. Finished the first rose (it's one of the prettiest things I've stitched) and started the second.


Also tried taking photos of my last few projects. The first set had my shadow all over them so I tried again and got a better result. Just need editing and uploading now.


In the meantime, here are the pressed flower designs I stitched back in June. Where have the last couple of months gone?

Star patterns are simple. Wait until I get to the nativity scenes. Or the Christmas tree ornaments.

LOL! To the easy ones first to get in the groove before tackling the more complex ones =D

That is the basic idea, yes. I'll have a nice stack of Christmas cards for the fair, even if I eventually give up on the complicated ones. I hope I won't, but with my nerves I can never tell.

Actually, I've done a great many of those before, so I know from experience that they are bloody hard to do properly, but I'd like to give them another try because they are so pretty...
