Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

No gardening today, I didn't have the energy and anyway it rained a bit.


Made great progress on the cross stitch, but it looks like I'll need a couple more days to finish this one.

Thank you! In my case it's mostly because I've been focusing on the garden, otherwise I could have finished this one in 6 days like the other two.

I'm very proud to announce that I've just finished my béret! It's a bit too big and a bit wonky but it'll keep my ears warm *and* nicely compliment my ugly holidays jumper next winter.

...However, I think it needs a pompom--maybe even two? would twin pompoms work better?--to be truly complete... and I haven't done pompoms in many years and I'm not sure how this irregular yarn will behave in a pompom. Guess I'll find out tomorrow?

Oooh, pompom fun! Good luck with making one, or several, to decorate your beret! I hope you'll share a picture, I'd love to see your pompom beret!

I managed to work a bit on the last pot holder before breakfast, but by this speed it will take a lot longer than I thought it would. Too bad, I'd really like to finish this project sooner rather than later.

It's always annoying when projects take -longer than planned due to circumstances outside your control.
