Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Despite the forecast being for rain, I did manage to get out and do a bit of work in the garden, mostly clearing ivy. The way that stuff gets into every crevice in everything is seriously annoying, especially where it's between the glass and the frame on the greenhouse. Impossible to get it all out.


Also managed to finish stitching my little ram, who is veery cute and woolly looking, and I've cut more fabric, not much more to do!


Finally, here are the pics of my Garden Fairies... Taken with my big camera, the colours came out way better than I was expecting.

Occasionally someone here plants ivy against their house *on purpose*... because they're nuts!

That's my favourite too, although the backstitch on the wicker baskets was a bit of a nightmare. Very fiddly getting the basket weave right.

Some people here do that too, because Ivy is pretty, but it's also a menace so I'm trying to get rid of as much as I can.

Yeah, they plant it and then "oh no, it's somehow grown through the window frame, under the roof, and learned to order stuff from Amazon."

*snicker* That last would not surprise me. I swear ivy is an alien intelligence taking over the world!

I finished the sunflower porch hanging - decided to do both yellows. I will try to get a photo uploaded tomorrow or the next day. I'm also trying to get the butterflies I made last year to look nice around it.
