Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

Another day with lots of gardening, making great progress even though it's only one small part of the garden. I checked my pockets carefully when I came in this time, because last night when I was getting ready for bed I found I'd been carrying a snail around in my pocket for around 8 hours. Thankfully it was sealed inside its shell, so no slime, but still... weird.


I did manage to fit in a bit of cross stitch before the Doctor Who finale, and more afterwards while the behind the scenes show was on, so once again, headless sheep, or actually thus one is my ram. Hopefully I'll finish him tomorrow.

I think it must have fallen off a plant as I squeezed past. Poor thing was completely oblivious.

They look better with heads though. Without them, they could be very low-flying clouds.

The steps have a lot of plants on both sides, so I reckon the snail was on a leaf and got knocked off as I passed. The pockets of my trousers are the sort where it's easy for things to fall in, I've found leaves in them before, but never a snail. Until now.

Five rows on the beach cover-up! I've got through the last of the really complicated rows and they're going a bit faster now that they're simpler.
