Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

This Week's Question: Do you like to finish one project at a time or do you prefer having several on the go?

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

Dark colours are so tricky. I hope it goes well whether you end up working on the sheep or the grass!

That is great - as long as you don't ruin your eyes in the process!

Amazing! Well done :D

Awww, a black sheep, how cute! Congrats on finishing it.

Ah yes, that stitching sounds difficult under the lighting conditions. How is it going now?

I've cut out and pinned together the pieces for some more lavender sachets. I also had to process two bouquets of lavender flowers that some kind persons gifted upon me. The flowers are now drying on the balcony; it seems I won't lack filling material for my sachets. :)

Apparently, they are good against moths, too.

It really does. And so do my fingers. ;)

Do you like to finish one project at a time or do you prefer having several on the go? -- I theoretically work on one at a time, but I'm just terrible at finishing projects, so I do usually have a few backups to switch to xD

Makes sense. Variety is the spice of life after all. :-)

Yesterday, I wrote a penpal letter after not writing any since 2 June. That felt great! I used up one of my pre-decorated envelopes.

Then this noon, I decorated another 5 envelopes. I got the idea to use a discarded sheet of paper on my desk top to protect it while I use the glue stick. Works great!

Yes, I use the same method for the glue stick. Too many projects had been ruined before I discovered the trick.

Oooh, cool that you use this trick, too! Great minds think alike, hehe. :D

Yeah, it works amazing! I should've thought of this sooner as I spent way too much time scrubbing glue off my makeshift desk, hehe. But now crafting cleanup is easy and much quicker, yay!
