Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
This Week's Question: What's the most complicated project you've ever tackled?
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

I finished cutting the pieces of rustico aida I need. All that's left to do is the light cream, at least until I can get the creases ironed out of the white.

Still nothing on my end of the connection... and the next three days don't look promising, either. *sigh*

Hopefully next week will be better for crafting.

Finished the back of the garage. The only remaining painting is the second coat on the front, but it's now mulberry season. I'm going to wait a few days until birds aren't pooping everywhere on that side. XD

Lol, yes, that does seem like a good idea.

LOL! Yes, I have the same problem here when the Berberis berries are ripe... Everything gets purple stains.

Monday was card making day with Lynne. I cannot remember if I checked in, if so, ignore this. Lynne was in a fairly decent mood, but even said herself that she feels like she's more with it in some ways and more lost in others. Card making itself went well, aside from Lynne repeatedly fighting with the glue, which boils down to she has a preferred type. They are out of the preferred type and she doesn't like what there is because it's not what she was expecting. She also had fun chatting with me and showing me things she's rediscovered around the house while I made up another card kit for a couple weeks from now. It was a good visit overall. I think that is how I will handle future kits. I'll design something ahead of time and when we are done, if there is time and everyone is in a good mood I'll build it then. As long as I'm only making one kit, it should go okay.
I haven't done anything since, mostly because of weather related headaches eating my days

Glad things went reasonably well with Lynne this week and that you managed to get another kit made. Hopefully that method of getting things ready for future sessions will continue to work.
Weather related headaches suck =(
*hugs*
