Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

More progress on the fairy, the bottom part of her dress is almost finished.


Also sorted out the cut pieces of pale lemon Aida, putting them in the right order and tucking them inside the magazines. Hopefully they'll flatten out under all the weight. They're not creased, but the fabric was in a roll, so they're all half rolled up.


And then... I cut the pieces of rustico aida that I need for some more designs. But I've decided to switch a couple of sets of designs I was going to stitch on the light cream aida and use rustico for those as well, so I still have more to cut.

I use old-fashioned dictionaries (hardback ones) to flatten things. :)
You've prepared for at least half a year worth of new projects, it seems.

The magazines in a stack are pretty heavy, and they've worked before. If necessary, I can put something even heavier on top but I'm hoping the magazines will be enough. =)

I think I have. Still got to stitch my guidelines on every piece, which is time consuming, but it helps me find where to stitch.

The new page is finally finished. As I mentioned yesterday, the pages are getting simpler as I'm running out of time till the birth of the little girl, but I think they are still pretty enough.

It's lovely! You don't need too many embellishments, sometimes less is more. This is perfect.

Except for the fact that the row of self-adhesive stones has been taped on in a crooked line, right? *g*
