Had to let the fire out last night so I could get it ready for its annual service on Friday, so of course the temperature has dropped from 20C (68F) to a meagre 13C (55.4F) with heavy rain. All the warmth has gone out of the house and I'm already fed up with feeling chilly.


Did make good progress on the cross stitch though, finished the fairy's jeans and striped top. There's still a lot of stitching to do, but I think I'm almost halfway.

That is an uncomfortable temperature drop, especially with the added heavy rain. I hope you'll be able to get things warmed up soon, after the servicing.

Well, I will if the weather improves. The fire won't be lit again until October, so I'll be without heat or hot water for the next few months. My kettle will be getting a lot of use.

I am FREEZING! Let the fire out and the temperature plummeted. It's 16C at present, but it needs to be in the 20s to warm the house up. I'm bundled up like it's winter, and still feeling cold.

Finished stitch-n-scream today! The movie was Trick 'r Treat, which was the originally scheduled last day movie, and I continued to work on the wingspan shawl.
