Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

I had time, and I need to keep the production line going ;)

These are NOT traditional fairies, in fact the magazine calls them angels, but they look nothing like angels, their wings are too small. The one I'm stitching now is wearing pink wellington boots, and patched jeans. They're more like rural gardening fairies.

Yes, very busy hands. I fidget if I don't have something to keep my fingers busy.

Rural gardening fairies sound even more adorable, to be honest. I think I might have seen similar artwork online but as stickers.

Do you watch or listen to stuff while you craft? I mostly lost the ability to watch films or series as I cannot concentrate that long most days (however, reading or letter writing for hours are fine, no idea how that works...). One of my local friends says she has the same problem but solves it by handsewing, doing embroidery or now crocheting while she watches stuff.

Sometimes I stick a DVD on, listen to music, or craft while I'm 'watching' TV, other times I just enjoy the quiet. Usually I can't sit and watch TV while doing nothing, but I do for new episodes of Doctor Who. That's the only thing I can just watch these days without having something else to do, and even then I fidget, lol!

Late comment is late, sorry. I got way behind in my DW reading and especially commenting.

Oh, that is great to know! Cool that it works for you and allows for you to watch TV which you can't do while doing nothing.

There is tons of series on Netflix and Disney+ I wanna watch. Especially, I still haven't watched season 2 of The Mandalorian and only saw the first ep of Loki. I think over the uni-free summer I really want to try to get into either crochet or knitting and try again to see if it also allows me to watch series and films. I miss that!

No worries, there's no time limit on comments!

I don't have any streaming services so I have to make do with what's on TV, or my DVD collection.

I hope over the summer you'll be able to indulge in watching shows and movies while getting to grips with knitting, crochet, or both!

Again with the teddy bears

It seems to have been a returning motif lately. Behold the latest baby book page - very pink and very teddy-lastig, but I like it:



I've already done the base for the next page but need to add some embellishments and tags yet.

It's very cute! I really love the background paper and there is no such thing as too many teddys.

No crafting for me today. I'm honestly not sure what I did today besides pay the phone bill (it's more labor intensive than it sounds) and some digital life clean up.

Some days just sneak quietly away while we're busy with something else. Others hang around and outstay their welcome. Days are fickle like that.
