Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

This Week's Question: What's the most complicated project you've ever tackled?

If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.

I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

You've done a lot, despite having to cut your way through the jungle with a machete!

Outdoor chores all raised their head at the same time over here too.

Sounds like some good progress--especially on your hedge!

Oh, that's great!

Aww, that's sweet. I've had similar help from a neighbor in mowing my parents' lawn when I was ill and completely forgot to arrange to get it done (we haven't been able to sell their house yet).

Hopefully we'll be selling it soon--it's not actually selling it that's the problem, it's been getting the will probated/all the title and paperwork sorted. In the three years since my parents passed away, I've been sick, and my sister, who's the one taking care of it, has had two children, gotten married, and moved out of the country, so we literally just haven't been able to finish things up.

Thanks :D. Fortunately, my sister's a lawyer, but with two little ones under three, she's had her hands pretty full, so it's just taking a while.

Today I did a bit crafting again. The 20 teddy bear keyrings are halfways done. The back panels are all finished, that is, all 20 bow-ties are stitched on, all 20 snouts are glued on and all 20 faces are drawn with permanent marker. I'll start stitching the faces next; then sewing the front and back panels together. My fingers are still in no shape to deal with the next page of the felt book, so I do such small jobs until they recover completely.

Twenty Tiny Teddies sounds like a book in itself! ;)

If you write the book, I'll provide the pictures. *g*
They are really colourful, from pink over purple, white, yellow, blue and grey till brown...

That is the plan, yes. :)

That sounds like such a cute project! Hope your fingers heal up soon.

They better do! I need to abuse them at least for four more times! *g*

I have sewed some binding on a quilt and am just now sewing it down in between waiting for a system to come back up.

Nice progress!

I think every new craft begins a bit more complicated than I imagine! Which is why it's a good idea to start small when trying new things :)

Finished that scarf in grey, white, a lovely shade of light slightly-blueish green, and ordinary blue.
Started working on a bigger sample for a new jumper that I really don't want to mess up.
