Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

It's ben raining all afternoon, so no work on the hedge. Good progress on the last of the Delft tile designs though. I finished stitching the two little windmills, stitched the daffodil leaves and stems, and two of the three flowers, except for their centres. That just leaves those, the last flower, and the backstitch, so hopefully I'll be done tomorrow.


I also cut a piece of aida for the tulips in a vase design from the set I used for my sister's card. Still need to cut aida for the the third design, which is anemones. If I've got all the threads for those (they're in Anchor), I'll probably stitch those next.

Oh I haven't even added the hedge to my yard to-do list yet!

You've made quick work of the delft patterns.

Hedges are always there, lurking, but it's easy to forget about them until they get too big to ignore.

They're relatively small designs, which has speeded things up. Once I'm back to stitching on 18 hpi, it'll take longer to finish each piece. They're bigger designs.

My fingers are still a bit tender, so I opted for working on the teddy bear keyrings today. I've made the back panels - well half of the full amount, which is 20; yes, I did cut out another teddy bear to have an even number. Working on the back panel means sewing on the actual rings with their holders *and* the tiny pom-poms that serve as the teddies' tails. When all this is done, I can go on to the front panels: the faces and the bow ties.

I've started knitting a complimentary béret to go with my new jumper (I'll lengthen said jumper... later. Next time. After the béret.) I'm going home tomorrow and I won't finish it before leaving, nor take it home with me, I'll just get on with the first, easiest part.

Ah, good idea, a new project to have waiting for you next time you visit! Lengthening the jumper will wait.

Started the head on the muppet basket. Also purchased the pipe cleaners and ping pong balls (glow in the dark!) for the antennae and eyes.

It's sunny here today in the midst of multiple rainy days. I planted chamomile, marigolds, and radish today.

I have not only MADE binding, I have SEWN ON the binding!

Which means three quilts are finished! (With another three to go.)

Then I just got to start getting rid of them...
