Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.

Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?

There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.

The two flowers are completed, including their fat stamens. Also stitched the leaves at the lefthand side of the design. Tomorrow I plan to work on the foliage at the top of the design, which will just leave the two coleus leaves at the righthand side. Hoping to finish this one sometime around the middle of next week.

I have so many other designs I want to stitch that by the time I get halfway through one, I'm itching to start the next one!

Culinary crafting today: one asparagus quiche with ham and one chestnut cake. Yum!

Four squares today, watching rugby, a documentary on Edinburgh's Castle and the start of a documentary on wild animal babies.

I do most of my crafting at home in my wingchair, although with this new traveling life of Mine, I'm starting to crochet in hotels and in the train.

Brilliant progress! Not many squares to go now.

Crochet is so versatile that it can be worked on anywhere. I've knitted on the train, many years ago. Train travel is great for that sort of crafting, and having something you can do when you're stuck in a hotel room is a bonus.

Train rides are good for such crafts. I once sewed half a felt Advent calendar on the train between Hungary and Romania. ;)

Television is being very helpful this week for your crafting.

I did 3 or so rounds on the basket, which came to the end of the skein.

This afternoon I painted on the east side of the garage.

Finished the regency stays. Sort of. They don't seem to quite push everything the way I expected, and I feel like they're kind of chunkier than I expected.
