Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
This Week's Question: Where do you do most of your crafting?
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

In other news, I got the last lot of Anchor threads I ordered. I'm still missing a few for a couple of the designs I want to stitch, but I have all I need for the rest, including (I think) the other two designs from the same set as the daffodils I stitched for my sister's card. There's a vase of Anemones (my grandma's favourite, according to my mum) and a vase of tulips, so I'd like to stitch those as well.

Good to know that you've managed to get most threads you'll need.

Jokes on him, I did make a card making kit for them. It has all the papers precut for 2 cards, the embossing folder, the ink pad, stamp set, and washi tape I used in my design, as well as a completed sample card, all in a Ziploc bag. It has no instructions though. Yes, I did keep the card I made for myself.
I poked at some other things, but was too tired to make any progress. The only other thing I did today was refill the smaller pond in a panic as it had mysteriously lost enough water that the plants were above the water and the pump couldn't run. I hope the fish aren't too traumatized.

Argh! Poor fish! Poor plants! Hope the water level stays up, otherwise there might be a leak somewhere o_O
Rest and relax as much as you can.

It was low again this morning, though only a couple inches. I am concerned about a leak, especially as this is the new replacement mini pond in a new location, as the old pond these fish were in was damaged in the fire, and it was done in a great hurry. While I was refilling it again though, I was watching the frog fountain/filter that cycles the water and it's too far away from the pond. At full capacity, it's only putting part of the water back in the pond, and the less water in the pond, the less water pressure, and less water makes it into the pond, so it's watering the plants outside the pond at that point. When I was done refilling the pond, I scooted the frog closer until all the water it puts out was going back in the pond. We'll see if that helps.
Relocating to the couch to sleep and leaving the TV on low for the dog seems to have bought me a few hours more sleep last night. (She's been refusing to come to bed, but if she realizes she's alone, she screams. And something about the bed was giving me a headache every time I laid down in it.) I'm just so frazzled at this point I'm not sure what would help, but I'm trying.

Fingers crossed that sleeping on the sofa helps both you and the unsettled dog.
