Hello to all members, passers-by, curious onlookers, and shy lurkers, and welcome to our regular daily check-in post. Just leave a comment below to let us know how your current projects are progressing, or even if they're not.
Checking in is NOT compulsory, check in as often or as seldom as you want, this community isn't about pressure it's about encouragement, motivation, and support. Crafting is meant to be fun, and what's more fun than sharing achievements and seeing the wonderful things everyone else is creating?
There may also occasionally be questions, but again you don't have to answer them, they're just a way of getting to know each other a bit better.
This Week's Question: If you were only allowed one craft, which would you pick?
If anyone has any questions of their own about the community, or suggestions for tags, questions to be asked on the check-in posts, or if anyone is interested in playing check-in host for a week here on the community, which would entail putting up the daily check-in posts and responding to comments, go to the Questions & Suggestions post and leave a comment.
I now declare this Check-In OPEN!

At least I don't have to worry about deadlines - one of the babies had the cheek to arrive a full month earlier than expected, so I'll be late in any case. *g*

I hope the baby is doing well.

Hope the baby is well. They do have a tendency to come when they feel like it, don't they.
BNNUY!
This is a screenshot of the character he's based on:
I think I did a good job! Tomorrow I start his clothes. I am going to be really brave and try something new, and SEW his clothes rather than knit or crochet them. His clothing has too much drape to do with yarn. I'll be hand-sewing since my machine needs servicing. Let's hope I figure things out okay, because I've only done very basic clothing in the past!
Re: BNNUY!
Good luck with the sewing. You can do it!

Tomorrow is a bank holiday, so in spite of the driving back home in the late afternoon, I should still find the time to do at least one square.

With luck should finish the cross stitch today or tomorrow but still have writing to do today which will take time. Sigh. Where did my long weekend go?

Long weekends have this horrible habit of evaporating faster than regular weekends. It's quite rude of them.

Yes, doing the same thing over and over again does get boring. I found that while making meeces. Taking a break to do something else should help. That's great progress on the cross stitch! The scarf will hopefully be finished before it gets too cold where you are.

With everything going on, I think it all just hit me at once today. I felt awful and nothing went quite right. I did talk myself into knitting a couple rows on the hat, but that's all I could get done.
Yesterday/Saturday, one of my sisters came down to visit for the day. It was a bit out of the blue as she's still recovering from major surgery and she lives a 9 hour drive away. It was a good visit, I think, but exhausting and no crafting.
I hope everyone who celebrates had a happy Easter.

Well done for getting two tows done despite feeling awful. Hope you're feeling better now *hugs* You're under a lot of stress at the moment with Lynne's issues, so try to take it easy and relax as much as you can.
